The purpose for the therapeutic hypnosis research project, is to demonstrate the efficacy of the Integrative Knowledge Therapy© approach to healing and resolution to life challenges.
We are seeking volunteers that truly desire to overcome unwanted and challenging behaviours through hypnosis.
Individual hypnosis sessions, outside and independent of the research group are also available, see below for our fees structure
The requested volunteers for these free sessions, are individuals experiencing challenges with:
- Self-esteem issues
- Addictions disorders
- Sexual Abuse
- Relationship issues
- Compulsive Behaviours
- Post Traumatic Strees Disorder (PTSD)
- Grief and Loss
- Negative Thoughts
After an initial interview to qualify the client into this research group, the volunteer is asked to responsibly compromise for five sessions of one and a half hour each session, free of charge.
The sessions are a combination of therapeutic discussions and hypnotic inductions; during these five sessions we will addressing the compelling situation by identifying the presenting challenge, the desired goal and the processes of how we are going to reach the desired change.
Hypnosis is not about loosing control or giving your power to the hypnotherapist, rather, you are in control at all times as you are the one that induces yourself in a total hypnotic state of relaxation and suggestibility; you are always in control to accept or reject any offered suggestion that it is not safe or goes against your value system.
